Poem: Truth

This could be a rap, but I really liked it. xD Hope you do, too.

The dirt from betrayal is always washed with denial; no, this won’t happen for a while, you thought it wasn’t dismal Christians don’t feel any pain, why their whole life is made to gain, gain, gain and you wonder who is to blame for this insane creation of lies that denies the truth that kicks Satan by a boot, right between the eyes.
People praise and people blame, but the blame and the praise should be not a matter, so raise your voice over the shattering of the broken glass of peoples' hopes and dreams for the world they thought so clean- pristine- but the downright truth is that we are all mean.
We are all sinners, so undeserving, but the truth is something everyone needs hearing; that we have all fallen and we have all been messy, but let me tell you about the glorious blessing. The most powerful lamb defeated the devil- He loved us so much he saved us forever.
Nothing we did, but everything Christ is- He is an outlaw, a revolution in religion; he puts the grit in gritty and the love in loving. He healed the sick, laughed with his friends, cried with the broken until it ended. This man was faithful and true- see on his hands? He respected His Father and broke all the rules in the land.
Who was this man, He could do all these things? Sinless and spotless, and made people sing? He flipped over tables and judged righteously, yet looked at us tenderly and loved us beautifully.
Christ is true love, and as the proof pooled beneath a tree, the reality sank- that should’ve been me. The sun was too ashamed to show its glowing face, for it knew what we all didn’t, that this man is grace.
The scandalous truth was hidden behind stone, but the sun shone again, for He arose. Up from the grave, he arose in victory and shed the shackles that held down you and me. The guards fell asleep, and the women did weep; the men held their tears as their Savior had died, but the wrath of God was finally satisfied.
