I am baptized under a new name; Jesus Christ. I am no longer
the same; I am changed, remade, and reborn. I have a purpose, I have a calling,
and I am redeemed. I am not who I used to be, for I left that behind in the
waters.
Even so, I am praying that God will give me the opportunity
to be baptized again. The last time I was baptized I was 8 years old. So much
has changed since then. My faith has increased so much in the living God, and I
want my re-commitment to God that I made two years ago to be expressed in
another baptism.
